Cursorhero — Cursorhero 8-Bit Pixel
============================================================

INSTALL (two quick steps):
  1. Double-click Install.cmd
     — the screen flickers while Windows Explorer restarts; this is
       normal.
  2. install.cmd opens the Mouse Properties window when it finishes.
Click the 'Pointers' tab, pick 'Cursorhero 8-Bit Pixel' from the
'Scheme' dropdown, and click 'Apply'. Your cursor changes the
     moment you click Apply.

(We can't fully automate step 2 — Windows does not expose a public
API to switch cursor schemes; the (default) + per-state registry
entries we write during install are necessary but not sufficient.
You have to click Apply in the dialog once. After that the scheme
  is active system-wide.)

REVERT (back to the default Windows cursor):
Press Win + R, type main.cpl and press Enter.
Go to the Pointers tab, pick any scheme ending in '(System Scheme)',
  and click Apply.

WHAT'S IN THIS ZIP:
Install.cmd — runs the whole install. This is the one to run.
  README.txt — this file.
  cursors\ — the 10 .cur file(s) + install.inf the script reads.

TROUBLESHOOTING:
  - If the cursor did not change after clicking Apply, open main.cpl
yourself (Win + R → main.cpl) and pick the scheme manually.
  - If Install.cmd closed immediately without restarting Explorer,
your antivirus may have blocked the .cmd. Right-click Install.cmd,
Properties, tick 'Unblock', then try again.
  - The cursor scheme is per-user. If another Windows account on this
PC wants the same cursor, they need to run Install.cmd from their
    own account.

NEED TO UNINSTALL?
There is no uninstaller — just revert the cursor scheme as described
above (main.cpl → Pointers → pick a system scheme → Apply). The .cur
files copied into %LOCALAPPDATA%\Cursors stay on disk but are harmless.
