Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of Cursorhero, an AI-powered custom mouse cursor generator operated by Cursorhero Labs ("we", "us", "our"). Cursorhero lets users describe a cursor style in natural language and generates a downloadable custom cursor pack for Windows. This AUP supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

By using Cursorhero you agree to follow the rules in this AUP. We may suspend or terminate any account that violates them.

2. Prohibited Content

Cursorhero is a productivity tool for designers, developers, streamers, and other creators. The following types of content are strictly prohibited in any prompt, generated image, or downstream use:

• Child safety and child sexual abuse material (CSAM) We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sexual exploitation of minors, or sexualized depictions of children. Requesting, generating, uploading, or distributing such material through Cursorhero is strictly prohibited, including synthetic, AI-generated, illustrated, or fictional depictions.
• Sexually explicit, pornographic, or NSFW content of any kind, including nudity, suggestive poses, or adult-oriented themes.
• Face-swap, deepfake, or face-manipulation imagery depicting any real or fictional person.
• Hate speech, harassment, or threats targeting a person or group on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
• Violence, gore, or self-harm content designed to shock or harm.
• Illicit activity such as drug manufacturing, weapons, fraud, or instructions to commit illegal acts.
• Trademark or copyright infringement — do not request cursors that reproduce or closely imitate a copyrighted character, logo, brand mark, or trade dress you do not have rights to.
• Misleading or deceptive content designed to impersonate a real person, brand, or government entity.

3. Prohibited Behavior

• Abuse of the platform — automated prompt flooding, scraping, reverse-engineering, or attempts to bypass automated safety controls.
• Circumventing safety controls — including but not limited to prompt injection, jailbreaks, or any technique intended to bypass content policy.
• Reselling or redistributing generated cursors in a way that misrepresents their origin or violates another party's intellectual property rights.
• Using Cursorhero to generate training data for competing AI cursor or AI image products.

4. Content Screening

Cursor image generation requires Waffo Prompt Sift screening of the input prompt before starting a new model task or consuming a pack. Only a confirmed allow result permits generation. Rejected, review, degraded, unavailable, timeout or unknown input results stop generation without consuming a pack. Prompt Sift is input-only. Independent output screening does not change the GPT Image 2.5 generation model. Sightengine scans original generated image bytes before upload, public URLs or completion; only an explicit validated allow can permit publication. Block, review, unavailable, timeout or invalid results prevent publication. No manual-review service is promised. Output screening is enabled under the owner's explicit acceptance of known limitations, not a certification of full policy coverage. Copyright and character permissions, some deceptive impersonation or illegal-instruction semantics, and animated or fictional minors are not comprehensively verified. Sightengine states that files are deleted after processing by default; this adapter does not use storage, feedback or human-review features. The scanner does not establish copyright permission or full coverage of every prohibited category. New one-time payments use Waffo Pancake.

If a generation is blocked, you will see an in-app error. Repeated rejected prompts may result in rate limits or account suspension.

5. Reporting Violations

If you believe content generated by Cursorhero violates this AUP, or if you want to report a user, email us at [email protected] with a link to the cursor set and a short description so we can assess the report.

6. Enforcement

We may, at our sole discretion:

• Remove generated content that violates this AUP
• Suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate this AUP
• Report illegal activity to relevant authorities
• Cooperate with relevant payment providers on fraud or chargeback investigations
