Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of Cursorhero, an AI-powered custom mouse cursor generator operated by Cursorhero Labs ("we", "us", "our"). Cursorhero lets users describe a cursor style in natural language and generates a downloadable custom cursor pack for Windows. This AUP supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

By using Cursorhero you agree to follow the rules in this AUP. We may suspend or terminate any account that violates them.

2. Prohibited Content

Cursorhero is a productivity tool for designers, developers, streamers, and other creators. The following types of content are strictly prohibited in any prompt, generated image, or downstream use:

• Sexually explicit, pornographic, or NSFW content of any kind, including nudity, suggestive poses, or adult-oriented themes.
• Face-swap, deepfake, or face-manipulation imagery depicting any real or fictional person.
• Hate speech, harassment, or threats targeting a person or group on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
• Violence, gore, or self-harm content designed to shock or harm.
• Illicit activity such as drug manufacturing, weapons, fraud, or instructions to commit illegal acts.
• Trademark or copyright infringement — do not request cursors that reproduce or closely imitate a copyrighted character, logo, brand mark, or trade dress you do not have rights to.
• Misleading or deceptive content designed to impersonate a real person, brand, or government entity.

3. Prohibited Behavior

• Abuse of the platform — automated prompt flooding, scraping, reverse-engineering, or attempts to bypass the Creem Moderation API screening that runs on every prompt.
• Circumventing safety controls — including but not limited to prompt injection, jailbreaks, or any technique intended to bypass content policy.
• Reselling or redistributing generated cursors in a way that misrepresents their origin or violates another party's intellectual property rights.
• Using Cursorhero to generate training data for competing AI cursor or AI image products.

4. Content Screening

Every prompt you submit to Cursorhero is screened against our content policy using the Creem Moderation API before any image is generated. Prompts classified asdeny orflag by the moderator are blocked and never reach our image generation model. We also log moderation results for abuse review and may share them with Creem or law enforcement when required.

If a generation is blocked, you will see an in-app error. Repeated rejected prompts may result in rate limits or account suspension.

5. Reporting Violations

If you believe content generated by Cursorhero violates this AUP, or if you want to report a user, email us at [email protected] with a link to the cursor set and a short description. We aim to review reports within 3 business days.

6. Enforcement

We may, at our sole discretion:

• Remove generated content that violates this AUP
• Suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate this AUP
• Report illegal activity to relevant authorities
• Cooperate with payment processors and Creem on fraud or chargeback investigations
